Combining micro fitration, monitoring and heating

RMF combined micro filtration, condition monitoring and standby heating in one design in order to maintain the oil quality of 6 Rolls Royce thrusters on a deep water drillship.

Before installation (Q4 2015) oil cleanliness result was ISO 18/16/12 and after running the RMF unit for three months it improved to ISO 14/12/7.

The customer is positive about the results and equipped the whole fleet with OLUHWS units. In total RMF  supplied 42 units. The units are installed on the lubrication system on Rolls Royce thrusters.

Drillships are used by offshore drilling companies that provide global ultra deep water drilling services to the oil and natural gas industry.
