Preventing contamination in flight simulators

The hydraulic systems of flight simulators are equipped with highly silt sensitive servo valves and therefore need to be protected against any type of contamination.

To prevent all type of fluid contamination at Qantas Flight Training, each hydraulic system is equipped with RMF offline filter OLU2A and RMF air conditioner KL121R (desiccant breather).

For over fifty years, Qantas Flight Training has been supporting pilots as they obtain licence approval to fly the various aircraft types for one of the world’s best airlines. Courses include the latest simulators and multimedia learning, making them among the most comprehensive in the industry.

Qantas Flight Training has its main trading bases in Sydney and Melbourne. The Sydney centre can be found next to Kingsford Smith International Airport, the Melbourne facility is at Airport West a short drive from Tullamarine International Airport.

Dedicated on-site maintenance ensures that training and checking are carried out around the clock.
